Method
Anyone can claim SCORM support. This is how a tool earns a signed entry.
Record the claim
We copy what the vendor's own pages say about SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, xAPI and cmi5, with the link and the date we checked. Third party reviews do not count as a claim.
Build the same demo module
Every tool gets the same short module, written from scratch with no employer or patient content: a few content screens, one branching scenario, a scored five question quiz, and narration where the tool supports it.
Test in real LMSs
We upload each export to SCORM Cloud and a self hosted Moodle. For each one we record pass, partial or fail on four checks: it launches, it reports completion, it sends the score, and it resumes where the learner left off. A screenshot of the LMS tracking record goes in the test log.
Work out cost per finished minute
List price per minute is the published plan price divided by the finished minutes that plan allows, taken from the vendor's pricing page. Tested price per minute is what a real finished minute used up in our test. Until a tool is tested, we show only the list figure and label it.
Note the healthcare details
We record whether the vendor says a BAA is available, where HIPAA claims appear, and what it says about data retention and AI training. We never upload patient information.
Check again
We recheck claims and prices on a schedule. Each entry shows when claims were last checked and when the tool was last tested.
